  1. I’m a short individual, 5′ 4″. I recently got a new job. I having to deal with new kid verbal abuse. My verbal defence skills I feel are not the best . I’m trying to deal with it . Do you have any suggestions for help.

    My husband was recently required to visit his EAP. He called, but no one returned his call. Since I have an EAP at my work, I told him to contact mine. The problem: his boss wants him to use their EAP–not mine. Can my husband’s employer force him to go to their EAP instead of using mine? Wondering

  3. Hi.
    I’m a nurse at a long term care faciltiy. We are hourly employees… our employer automatically takes 30 minutes off of time each for lunches that we very rarely get to take. If we do get the opportunity to start lunch we are more often than not, interrupted by emergencies, phone calls from physicians, etc.
    If we are not able to take a (full) lunch, we have to complete a form and then “prove” we didn’t take a lunch… not to mention put up with “crap” from HR and management.
    Is taking the 30 minutes automatically legal???

  4. I have been in the dental/medical field for many years and have had to deal with verbal,mental,emotional abuse, Also sexual Harrassment …My last job consist
    of never being good enough no matter how hard you worked as well as the abuse. I am having a hard time getting myself out there again for fear of going through this again. I have no tolerance for any type of abuse what so ever. Can you give me some encouraging words ? Thanks so much….
